In case of weapons a very important pricedeterminator is the fact whether the weapon is meant for decoration or it actually is functional. In every productdescription (in case of weapons) we mention the usage of the product (decoration or functional). Weaponsuppliers tend to use different criteria for labeling a weapon as functional (or 'battle-ready' if you will). We from the replicashop call a weapon functional when it meets the following criteria:

• it is made of tempered high carbon steel, not stainless steel;
• it has a 'full tang' (in case of swords and daggers), i.e. the core of the handle and the blade are one piece;
• the blade is sharp or can be sharpened;
• the total construction of the weapon is such that it can take an impact.
